Vintage Heuer Chronosplit III Gold LCD/LED R. Pre-owned 100% authentic, men's Heuer LCD/LED chronosplit; reference number R. Introduced in 1975 and manufactured for only one year, this is an incredibly rare timepiece.

Heuer LCD/LED chronographs were rare to begin with, but having one with all functions working and all segment of both the LCD and LED displays showing now, is next to impossible. Adding to the "impossible" factor is the crystal, which covers both displays, is perfect; no scratches, smudges or scuffs.

With no aftermarket accessories makes for a rare and collectible piece; which is reflected by the following original items: brown leather strap, gold plated buckle, Chronosplit case, hang tag and printed instruction manual; all original and Heuer signed. Buckle: Heuer signed, pin buckle type; Swiss "sun" and PLACUEG(gold plated) stamped on reverse.

Case: Brushed, gold filled, Heuer signed stainless steel; 40 mm wide not including pushers; 45.25 mm lug to lug. Slight damage to underside of case, just where upper left lug extends from main body of case which is visible in picture # 11. Case back: Polished stainless steel, snap back; original Heuer red and white sticker intact; serial number can be seen in picture # 5.

Arabic numbers one(1) through twelve(12) stamped around outer edge. Crystal: Scratch and flaw free, crystal. Display: Digital, both LCDtime, a. Date, seconds and LED(stopwatch, 1/10 second up to 9 hours 59 minutes 59.9 seconds). Movement: Heuer signed, Calibre 100. Pushers: 4; 1 on left side for toggling LCD displaytime, a. Date, seconds; 3 on right side-upper start/split for LED stopwatch, middle for LCD backlight(functioning), bottom for stop/reset of LED stopwatch.

Strap: Brown, Heuer signed, leather; original strap to watch. Will fit up to 7-1/2 wrist. This piece is in excellent condition, showing very minute signs wear. Heuer Chronosplit case(slight wrinkling along top edge and center of Heuer sticker, see picture # 12), original Heuer printed instruction manual(in French only) and red Heuer hang tag with printed watch information.
